Oh my goodness, what a wedding! I had photographed the couple earlier in the year for their engagement shoot amongst the bluebells. Their big day had arrived and I photographed both getting ready in the lovely rooms of the old castle. The weather was constant sunshine. Unbeknown to the bride and groom, the family had arranged an owl ring bearer so there was great excitement during the ceremony! There was champagne in the Rose Garden with the Exe Estuary as a backdrop. All the guests then climbed aboard the Powderham tractor and trailer to be taken down the beautiful American Garden where they had Pimms and cream tea provided by Posh Nosh. Back to the castle for singing, dancing, a Hora chair dance and a beautiful meal.
